5-Tonne Excavator Roof Lift in Crows Nest

A 5-tonne excavator needed to be lifted onto the roof of a building in Crows Nest, Sydney, so it could be used for demolition work.

BIGLIFT CRANES completed the lift using a GROVE GMK 3055.

The project involved moving the excavator from ground level to the rooftop, where it was needed for the planned demolition work.

Lifting a 5-Tonne Excavator Onto a Roof

The main requirement was to get the 5-tonne excavator onto the roof and into position for the demolition work.

A crane was used to lift the machine from ground level to the rooftop, allowing the excavator to reach the elevated work area where it was needed.

Using a GROVE GMK 3055 for the Lift

The lift was carried out using a GROVE GMK 3055 crane.

The crane raised the 5-tonne excavator onto the building roof, where it could be positioned for the planned demolition. 

This provided the lifting solution needed to move the heavy machine into its required work area.

Completing the Roof Lift in Crows Nest

The 5-tonne excavator was successfully lifted onto the roof and positioned for the demolition work.

The project demonstrates how crane lifting can be used to place heavy machinery in elevated work areas for construction and demolition projects.
