Read full reviewMoving heavy machinery isn't always as simple as rolling it onto a truck. If it has to go over a wall, up onto a roof or into a space a forklift can't get to, a crane is often the safest way to do it.
We offer machinery relocation crane hire across Sydney, working with factories, workshops, builders and machinery movers. We also lift excavators, cars and trucks, containers and site sheds, with a licensed operator on every job.
Tell us what you're moving and send a few photos of the site. We'll recommend the right crane and send through a free quote.

Read full reviewWhether it's a machine in a factory or a shed on a building site, we'll match the crane to what you're lifting and where it's going.
We lift machinery in, out and across factories, warehouses and workshops, whether you're installing, relocating or replacing it.
Lifting an excavator with a crane is often the easiest way to get it onto a rooftop or into a spot it can't drive to. See our 5-tonne excavator roof lift in Crows Nest.
We lift cars, trucks and other vehicles into position when a crane is the safest way to move them, such as over a fence or wall.
We lift containers off the truck and into position on site, or load them back on when it's time to go.
We lift school demountables, site sheds and portable offices off the truck and into position.
We also lift large signs into place for signage installers. See our service station signage installation in Canley Vale.
Moving a machine usually has three parts: preparing it, transporting it and lifting it into its new spot. We handle the lift, working alongside your mover, fitter or transport company.
Who does what:
Don't have a mover or transport company yet? Book them first, then we'll work out the lift with them.
Before we confirm a crane, we work through four things. Weight matters, but so does how far the load will be from the crane.
What we check:
Weight and lifting points
Send the confirmed machine weight, dimensions and the manufacturer's lifting instructions. We use these details to choose the crane and rigging.
Pickup and set-down
We need to know where the machine starts, where it's going and how far each point is from the crane.
Setup space and ground
The crane needs firm ground and room for its outriggers. A setup on the street may need council approval and traffic management.
Obstacles
We plan around rooflines, walls, powerlines and anything else in the lift path.
Our guide on how to read a crane load chart explains why a crane lifts less as the load moves further away.
Our fleet ranges from 16 to 130 tonnes rated capacity. The right heavy machinery crane depends on what you're lifting and how much room there is to set up.
Crane options for equipment lifts:
Not sure which one you need? We'll recommend a crane once we have the machine details, or view our full fleet.
Lighter machinery and site equipment, where access, ground conditions and the load chart allow.
Franna crane hireHeavier machinery and longer reaches, up to our 130 tonne crane.
Heavy lift crane hireWhether you're running a factory move or setting up a building site, here's what to expect.
The lift, sorted
Your truck, crew and move date are booked, so the crane needs to be on time. We'll line the lift up with your schedule and land the machine where you've planned.
Get your site set up
Site sheds, containers and excavators often need to go in before the build can start. We'll book the crane around your deliveries and program.
Either way, call 1300 024 454 or send your details for a free quote.
A few details upfront help us quote faster and get the crane right.

The operator sets up, lifts the load and lands it at the agreed set-down point.
Cost depends mostly on the size of crane needed, which comes down to the machine's weight and how far the load will be from the crane. Setup, time on site, rigging, traffic management and any approvals also affect the price. Every lift is quoted individually, free of charge.
Read our crane hire cost guide →We're based in Old Guildford and offer machinery crane hire right across Sydney, from industrial estates in Western Sydney to building sites in the city.
We don't transport it, but we supply the crane and operator for the lift. Your machinery mover or transport company handles the transport, and we'll line up the lift with them.
It depends on the machine's weight, how far it is from the crane and how much room there is to set up. Send the specs and photos, and we'll recommend a crane.
